ロアーズオリジナルから「08 BASIC / ゼロハチベーシック」のご紹介です。
「08 BASIC / 08ベーシック」は、2008年から発売されておりますロアーズオリジナルのライダースジャケットです。「‘06ゼロロク」に続く、ロアーズオリジナルで長く継続しているライダースジャケットです。
まず大きな特徴にサイズのバランスにあります。
一般のライダースジャケットより着丈が長めに設定されています。
日本人の体のバランスを考えパンツのベルトが隠れるくらいの着丈の長さに設定されています。
海外製のライダースジャケットのサイズ感がどうしても合わない僕のわがままで作ったライダースジャケットです（笑）
シルエットはスポーツジャケットの作りよりはテーラードに近い作りです。
よって立ち姿のシルエットがとても綺麗です。
マイナスな面は腕を高く上げて運転するようなバイクには不向きなところです。
「08BASIC」は秋冬用のライダースジャケットと考えています。
裏地には中綿のキルティングを採用し、袖の裏にも中綿がボンディングされています。
機能的な中綿を採用しているので薄くて軽いのにとても暖かいです。
裏地に中綿等が入っていないオールシーズンタイプがお好みの方は「06（ゼロロク）」をおすすめしています。
身頃の二本並んだファスナーは、サイズの調整に使います。
厚手のインナーを着込んだ時にはファスナーをずらしてサイズ感を調整できます。冬に着込む際にはとても便利な機能です。
レザーは水染めの牛革と言われる顔料を使用していない革を使っています。革本来の柔らかさが特徴です。厚さ1.2ｍｍのです。バイク用のライダースジャケットは1mm以上あると安心です。
水染めの牛革は顔料を使用していないかわりに日焼けに弱いのが特徴です。
長く着用頂くと日焼け等により革の色が変色する場合があります。気になり出したら遠慮なくご相談下さい。革のカラー補修も承っております。
カラー展開はブラックのみです。

The “08 BASIC” is a long-standing ROARS ORIGINAL piece, first released in 2008 following the success of the 「’06 Zero-Roku」 .It has remained a consistent part of the lineup ever since.
Design
One of the defining features of this jacket is its length. Compared to most standard riders jackets, the body is cut slightly longer―just enough to cover the belt line. This design takes into consideration the body proportions of Japanese riders, offering a better fit than many overseas-made options.
Material
Crafted from water-dyed cowhide leather with no added pigments, this material retains the natural softness and feel of the hide. The leather is approximately 1.2 mm thick―providing solid durability suitable for motorcycle use. Note that this type of leather is more susceptible to sun fading over time. Should color changes become a concern, leather color restoration is available upon request.
Color
This model comes in black only. A variation in cow nubuck leather is also available under the same model―「08 BASIC COW NUBUCK」be sure to take a look.
