ロアーズオリジナルから「08 BASIC / ゼロハチベーシック」のご紹介です。
「08 BASIC / 08ベーシック」は、2008年から発売されておりますロアーズオリジナルのライダースジャケットです。「‘06ゼロロク」に続く、ロアーズオリジナルで長く継続しているライダースジャケットです。
まず大きな特徴にサイズのバランスにあります。
一般のライダースジャケットより着丈が長めに設定されています。
日本人の体のバランスを考えパンツのベルトが隠れるくらいの着丈の長さに設定されています。
海外製のライダースジャケットのサイズ感がどうしても合わない僕のわがままで作ったライダースジャケットです（笑）
シルエットはスポーツジャケットの作りよりはテーラードに近い作りです。
よって立ち姿のシルエットがとても綺麗です。
マイナスな面は腕を高く上げて運転するようなバイクには不向きなところです。
裏地には中綿のキルティングを採用し、袖の裏にも中綿がボンディングされています。
機能的な中綿を採用しているので薄くて軽いのにとても暖かいです。
裏地に中綿等が入っていないオールシーズンタイプがお好みの方は「 06 （ゼロロク）」 を おすすめしています。 身頃の二本並んだファスナーは、サイズの調整に使います。
厚手のインナーを着込んだ時にはファスナーをずらしてサイズ感を調整できます。冬に着 込む際にはとても便利な機能です。 レザーは水染めの牛革と言われる顔料を使用していない革を使っています。
革本来の柔らかさが特徴です。厚さ 1.2 ｍｍのです。バイク用のレザージャケットは 1mm以上あると安心です。
水染めの牛革は顔料を使用していないかわりに日焼けに弱いのが特徴です。
長く着用頂くと日焼け等により革の色が変色する場合があります。気になり出したら遠慮 なくご相談下さい。革のカラー補修も承っております。
カラー展開はブラックのみです。

The “08 BASIC” is a long-standing ROARS ORIGINAL piece, first released in 2008 following the success of the 「’06 Zero-Roku」 .It has remained a consistent part of the lineup ever since.
Design and Silhouette
A defining feature of this model is its length. The body is cut slightly longer than standard riders jackets, designed to balance the proportions of the Japanese physique and to cover the belt line.
The silhouette leans closer to tailored construction than to a sport jacket, resulting in a clean and elegant standing profile. While not ideally suited for motorcycles that require high arm positioning, it excels in both design and fit for everyday riding and wear.
Seasonal Use
The 08 BASIC is intended for autumn and winter. The lining is quilted with functional padding, including bonded padding in the sleeves. Despite its lightness and thin profile, the jacket provides excellent warmth.
For those seeking an all-season alternative without insulation, the ’06 RIDERS JACKET is recommended.
Features
Dual Front Zippers: Allows adjustment of fit when layering heavier garments during colder months.
Leather: Crafted from 1.2mm water-dyed cowhide with no pigments applied. This retains the leather’s natural softness while ensuring the durability required for motorcycle use.
Aging: Water-dyed leather is more sensitive to sunlight, and long-term wear may result in natural color change. Color touch-up services are available if desired.

Black only.
