Introducing the "DOWN JACKET" from ROARS ORIGINAL.

It's a down jacket, but we aimed to create one that makes you want to wear it on your motorcycle!
Down jackets are a staple outerwear for the dead of winter.
But you probably wouldn't wear one on your motorcycle. Me too.
What are the reasons for this?

First of all, regular down jackets are too big and don't look good on a motorcycle.
With that in mind, we made the ROAR'S ORIGINAL down jacket's fit stylishly. That said, if it's too slim, it restricts movement, and some people might wear innerwear, so we made it as slim as possible.
But it still looks quite stylish.
With this, a down jacket for motorcycle riding might just be a good idea!

And then there's the design.
The design of regular down jackets may be obvious, but it's more outdoor-oriented.
We wanted a design that wouldn't look out of place on a motorcycle...or rather, a design that people would want to wear while riding, and that's how we came up with this design.
It's designed like a biker jacket combined with a down jacket.

Normally, leather biker jackets would have metal zippers, but this is a highly functional down jacket, so we've used waterproof zippers.
It's futuristic and cool.

And since it's a down jacket, functionality is key.
The outer fabric is a three-layer water-repellent, windproof, and waterproof nylon, with a windproof polyester lining.
Water resistance is 12,000 mm. Heavy rain generally requires a water resistance of 10,000 mm or more, so this fabric has a reasonable rating.
Unfortunately, the seams are not waterproofed, so it's not completely waterproof. It may not be suitable as a raincoat. Thank you for your understanding.

Both the outer and lining fabrics are stretchy. Riding a motorcycle involves more movement than you might expect, so stretchy fabric is helpful.
The down used is high-spec 700 fill power down, consisting of 90% down and 10% feathers. Explaining the down's specifications might be annoying, so if you're interested, please research it yourself.
It's made in Japan, at a down jacket factory in Iwate Prefecture.
Down jacket factories in Japan are quite rare. We want you to experience the quality of Japanese-made construction for yourself.

It's only available in black.

This down jacket is not designed to be fitted with motorcycle protectors.
If you need inner protectors, we recommend the ROARS ORIGINAL "PROTECTOR LINER," sold separately.
You can enjoy combining it with innerwear while wearing protectors.
