ロアーズオリジナルから夏のレザーパンツ「PUNCHING MESH LEATHER PANTS WASHABLE / パンチングメッシュレザーパンツウォッシャブル」のご紹介です。
そもそも夏にレザーパンツを履くというのはバイカーぐらいしかいないはずです（たぶん）。
それでもなぜバイカーは夏にレザーパンツを履くのか？
ひとつに安全性です。
もしもの時には耐摩耗性に優れているレザーは安心感があります。
もう一つはエンジンの熱対策です。
最近の大型バイクには尋常じゃないくらい熱いエンジンがあります。レザーを履かないと耐えられないという人も多いです。
最後にカッコイイからです。
子供っぽい言い方で申し訳ありませんがやはりレザーパンツは夏でもカッコイイです。
そんな夏のレザーパンツですがせめてバイクで風を浴びている時は涼しくしたいという事でパンチングメッシュ加工を施しました。
パンチングメッシュ加工とはレザーに無数の穴を開けて通気を良くする加工です。
そして今回は夏にレザーパンツを履くという事は汗をかく、汗をかくという事は洗いたくなるという事でウォッシャブルレザーにしました。
ウォッシャブルレザーとは革の繊維に特殊なオイルを含ませて洗濯後の色落ちや型崩れを防ぐレザーです。
洗濯はぬるま湯で中性洗剤を使って手洗いをお勧めしています。
洗濯後は軽く絞りタオルなどで水分を取ってください。
ポイントは完全に乾く前にレザーオイルを軽く塗布して頂くとより柔らかさが増します。

素材は0.8㎜の牛革です。使い始めは張りのあるレザーですが使うほど馴染みます。
バイクのエンジンで熱くなる股から膝・ふくらはぎにかけてはパンチングメッシュが施されていないレザーが当て布されています。
サイドのファスナーを開けるとベンチレーション（通気口）になっています。
ベンチレーションを開ける事でバイクに跨る時にはヒップにゆとりも出来ます。
カラーはブラックとグレイです。
ブラックは艶消しの渋い色合いです。良い意味で革パンらしさが無いです。
グレイは一見革パンに見えない涼しげな色合いです。日差しの強い夏にお勧めです。
膝にプロテクターを装着出来ます。
プロテクターは軽くて弾力性に優れているメッシュタイプのプロテクターです。
購入時にプロテクターの有・無を選べます。
夏のレザーパンツは安全性を考慮するだけではなく、エンジン熱対策にもお勧めです。

One reason bikers wear leather pants in the summer is safety.
In case of an accident, the abrasion-resistant properties of leather provide peace of mind.
Another reason is engine heat protection.
Modern large motorcycles have incredibly hot engines. Many riders find it unbearable without leather.
Finally, they look cool.
Leather pants look cool even in summer.
For these summer leather pants, we've added a perforated mesh design to keep you cool while riding a motorcycle and enjoying the breeze.
Perforated mesh processing involves creating numerous holes in the leather to improve ventilation.
And because these pants are worn in the summer, we've made them washable leather.
Washable leather is leather that has been treated with a special oil to prevent color fading and deformation after washing.
We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water with a neutral detergent.
After washing, gently wring out the excess water with a towel.
Applying a light coat of leather oil before it's completely dry will make it even softer.
The material is 0.8mm thick cowhide. The leather is stiff at first, but it will soften with use.
The area from the crotch to the knees and calves, which gets hot from the motorcycle engine, is reinforced with leather without perforated mesh.
The side zippers open for ventilation.
Opening the ventilation also provides more room around the hips when straddling a motorcycle.
Available in black and gray.
The black has a matte finish. It doesn't look like typical leather pants in a good way.
The gray is a cool color that doesn't immediately look like leather pants. Recommended for sunny summer days.
Knee protectors can be attached.
The protectors are lightweight and highly elastic mesh type protectors.
You can choose whether or not to include protectors when purchasing.
Summer leather pants are recommended not only for safety but also for protection against engine heat.
