ロアーズオリジナルから「NUBUCK LEATHER PANTS / ヌバックレザーパンツ」のご紹介です。
僕はレザーパンツが好きなのでロアーズオリジナルから多くのレザーパンツを発売しています。
好きが高じてか・・ラインナップにはレザーパンツらしいレザーパンツが多い気がします。
レザーパンツらしいとはレザーの光沢や重厚感を感じられるパンツの事です。
もちろん、それはこれからも続けて行きたいのですが、最近ではレザーパンツらしくない
レザーパンツにも興味を持つようになりました。
それはどんなパンツかと言うと、見た目にレザーの光沢が少なく一見普通にカジュアルなパンツに見える大人しいレザーパンツです。大人しいレザーパンツという表現が合っているか疑問ですが（笑）簡単に言うと街を歩いていてもレザーパンツに見えないレザーパンツです。
そこで今回その希望を叶えてくれるレザーに選んだのが、こちらの牛革1.2㎜のヌバックレザーです。
ヌバックレザーとはレザーの表面にやすりがけをしてマッドな雰囲気に仕上げたレザーです。（レザーの裏面を使うスエードとは異なります。）
このヌバックレザーを使う事により、よりクールなレザーパンツが出来上がりました。
写真で見てもレザーパンツには見えませんね。
バイクのみならず普段着にも使う機会が増えそうなレザーパンツです。
ちなみに長く使って行くとヌバックレザーは面白い経年変化をして行きます。
何度も同じ部分が擦れて行くとレザーの表面にアタリが出て来ます。
アタリは擦れて光沢が出ます。よって起毛部分と光沢部分の陰影が出来ます。
簡単に例えるとデニムの経年変化のような風合いになります。
是非、経年変化も楽しんで頂ければと思います。
カラーはブラックとグレーです。
どちらも良い色です。
ブラックの履き始めはマッドで素材に動きを感じませんが履けば履くほど味が出て気に入って頂けると思います。
グレーは最初から珍しいレザーパンツを履いている感覚があり楽しいです。
サイズはS・M・L・XLの４サイズです。
ロアーズオリジナルで発売しているレザーパンツの中でも比較的、ヒップにゆとりを持ったサイズ感にしています。
レザーパンツといえばタイトに履くイメージでしたが、ヌバックレザーパンツはゆとりを持って履いてもカッコイイ・パンツです。
デニム感覚でレザーパンツを履いてもらえると嬉しいです。
バイクには安全性を考えるとレザーパンツに勝るものはないと感じています。
もしもの時の耐摩耗性にも優れていますし、大型バイクにはエンジンの熱対策にもレザーパンツは最適です。

These pants were designed with a quieter take on leather in mind ― one that feels at home both on the bike and in everyday settings.
Most ROARS ORIGINAL leather pants embrace the boldness of leather: shine, structure, and presence. While that approach continues, this piece explores something different ― a more subtle leather pant. Less gloss, more calm. Something that doesn’t immediately read “leather” when seen on the street.
Materials
Outer: 1.2mm cow nubuck leather
Lining: Polyester twill
No insulation. Recommended for spring and autumn use.
Nubuck is made by lightly sanding the leather’s surface, creating a soft, matte texture that feels understated and refined ― unlike suede, which uses the underside of the hide. It hardly looks like leather at first glance, making it a natural fit for riders who value subtle style. Over time, friction polishes certain areas, adding depth and contrast ― similar to how denim fades. The result is a material that evolves beautifully with wear.

Traditionally, leather pants are worn tight ― but this pair also looks great with a looser fit
Easy to style like denim, but with the durability and protection of leather
Recommendation
Leather offers excellent abrasion resistance and protection from engine heat ― especially for larger motorcycles.
Still, many hesitate to wear leather due to its bold appearance.
In those moments, this pair offers a quieter way to wear leather.
