cIntroducing the "Ripstop Punching Mesh 2-Way Pants" from Roars Original.

We created these pants to be cool and convenient for summer wear.

The fabric is known as "ripstop punching mesh."
Ripstop is a fabric reinforced with a grid-like pattern of tightly twisted threads.
It is a material frequently used in military gear; for summer motorcycling, a fabric that is both lightweight and durable is highly desirable.
"Punching mesh" refers to a process where countless small holes are punched into the fabric.
This process allows air to pass through, resulting in a very cool, breathable material.
By combining ripstop and punching mesh, we achieved a fabric that offers both durability and coolness―making it ideal for summer bikers.
Incidentally, the technique used to apply this punching mesh finish to the fabric is a Japanese process that remains rare worldwide.

The fabric is lightweight.
Areas subject to more wear―such as the calves, the crotch, and the seat (where you sit on the motorcycle)―are reinforced with standard, non-perforated fabric rather than the punching mesh.
Please note that because the fabric is lightweight, it may not provide sufficient heat protection against the intense heat of large motorcycle engines.

The material is polyester.
The lining uses Coolmax mesh fabric.
Since both the outer and inner layers are mesh, please be careful not to get too cold.
They are truly cool, so we do not recommend wearing them in temperatures below 20°C (68°F).
Given the extreme heat and intense sunlight of recent summers, we chose polyester for its UV resistance.

They feature a stylish silhouette despite having large pockets on both sides.
We love the unique, genre-defying design.
The pockets are functional and spacious enough to hold items like gloves or a hat; since summer outerwear often lacks pockets, having them on your pants is very convenient.
They are so cool and comfortable that we hope you’ll wear them not just for motorcycling, but as everyday casual wear as well.

There is one more distinctive feature to these pants:
The lower legs can be detached above the knee, allowing you to wear them as shorts. Wouldn't it be great to head out on your motorcycle and then relax in a pair of shorts once you reach your destination?
That was the idea behind this product.
I believe the coolness provided by the perforated mesh fabric is unbeatable.
They’ll be incredibly handy for everyday wear this summer, too.

You can choose whether or not to include knee protectors at the time of purchase.
At ROARS ORIGINAL, we use mesh protectors; they are lightweight and flexible.
Even if you choose not to buy the protectors, the shorts come with built-in knee pockets to hold them.
The knee pockets measure approximately 21cm vertically and 17cm horizontally, so you may be able to use protectors you already own if the size fits.

They are machine washable. Please remove the protectors before washing and air-dry them―avoid using a tumble dryer.
The fabric does not shrink when air-dried.

People often ask, "Isn't perforated mesh fabric see-through?"
They are lined, so they aren't see-through. The lining uses Coolmax mesh fabric, allowing air to pass through and keeping you cool.

They are available in two colors: Black and Deep Green.
With the Black version, the fabric and parts are all solid black, making the details subtle.
The Deep Green version features contrasting colors between the main fabric and the reinforcement panels, creating a unique two-tone look.

We set out to design cool summer pants and ended up pulling a "cheat move" by making them convertible into shorts.
