Introducing the PUNCHING MESH PROTECTOR PANTS ― a mesh pant that balances cooling performance with practical function. Designed for summer motorcycling, this piece reflects the brand’s pursuit of wearability in extreme heat. With added convenience for knee protectors and a structure that remains lightweight despite reinforcements, it’s a highly functional evolution of the standard mesh riding pant.

Fabric and Functional Design
The punching mesh fabric was specially developed in collaboration with a processing manufacturer. Each hole is heat-treated to prevent fraying, enhancing durability and giving the mesh a clean, long-lasting structure. From a distance, the perforations are barely noticeable, giving the pants the appearance of standard casual wear ― without the bulky look often associated with mesh garments. The fabric is of medium weight ― not too thin, not too thick ― offering a comfortable balance of flexibility and structure, even when riding at high speeds.
To protect against engine and seat heat, non-perforated fabric is strategically placed in key areas such as the calves, inner thighs, and seat. Despite this added reinforcement, the pants remain remarkably lightweight thanks to the overall mesh-based construction.
While the mesh fabric is highly breathable, transparency can be a concern, especially for pants. To address this, the interior is fully lined with COOLMAX(R) mesh, which provides visual coverage without sacrificing airflow. The result is a pant that feels cooler ― not warmer ― while staying modest in appearance.
Made from 100% polyester, the fabric offers high durability and strong resistance to UV exposure, making it well-suited for harsh summer conditions. Compared to cotton, polyester is less prone to fading and wear ― especially under intense sunlight. The pants are machine washable, but we recommend air drying and avoiding tumble dryers to preserve the fabric’s performance.

Practical Feature
One of the key features of this model is that the knee protectors can be removed or inserted without taking off the pants. When stepping off the bike in hot weather, removing protectors can provide comfort ― now made easier than ever. This thoughtful function enhances both ease of use and practicality in real riding situations.

Protector Options
As with other models, customers can choose to include or exclude knee protectors at the time of purchase. ROARS ORIGINAL uses lightweight, flexible mesh protectors originally developed for sports use. Even when selecting the no-protector option, insert pockets are included. Pocket size: approx. 22cm (vertical) × 18cm (horizontal) ― compatible with most standard-sized protectors.
